Our AWANA bake sale!

At our Awana bake sale we raised up to $209.81 and almost sold everything out in one night! This is how it went.

First, Sobe/Awana leader said that we needed to wash our hands and load the food on to the tables. Then we started to make our signs I was the one who wrote them and everyone else matched the prices. We were all in charge of different things and the bake sale begun. Our family made the rice muffins, though they were kind of messed up. So to make it up we also made some Angel Food Cake. Every one liked it a lot and a girl named Yingqi said it tasted SUPER good. That I was happy about. [That was when the bake sale already started.]

Our first costumer came and it bought some eggs and the porridge that Sobe made. It was really good!!! There were Richard's cake rolls, [that I didn't get to taste] jello, tropical fruit, lemon cake, regular baked bread, and tons of other stuff.

Soon we raised more and more. I was really glad that we got that much money. We needed to handle money the food and the costumers. There were still stuff left to sell on the table. Wenhao/another Awana leader decided we should bring down the price to 50% off or only $1.  After almost everything was sold out. We counted the money and all of our hard work goes into good.

That was our bake sale.

recipe: sweet rice muffin

Sophie is going to do a bake sale with her class. I am trying to make something that will sale.
We have tried to make the muffin. Definitely delicious. But I want to make some changes to the recipe.

Ingredients:4 eggs (I would use only 2 eggs),1/3 cup sugar,1/2 cup cooking oil (I feel this is too much. Maybe 1/4 cup is enough),~ 2 cups (0.5lb)sweet rice flour (maybe called sticky rice, glutinous rice) ,1/2 cup milk,1 teaspoon baking powder

0. Preheat oven to 375°F
1. mix rice flour and baking powder
2. mix eggs, milk, cooking oil and sugar
3. add mix 2 into mix 1, mix well
4. put mix into paper cups
5. bake 20 minutes or until the muffins turn golden color.

They were a great success!!!! People liked it

We made better ones a few weeks ago! They looked way better than the ones before.

How Hershey Is Doing Now

Now Hershey is having a lot of fun! We got her a new wheel probably a month ago instead of using the tiny robo one. Now she completely takes over the whole space of the little wheel and I'm glad she has a new wheel. Hershey is doing really well now and is getting used to being handled. I think my friends really want to see her since they've been asking me all the time if I will bring her to the classroom. I love pets!

She is really healthy and I think she might live for about a year! I really hope she does because Hershey is the funnest pet I have ever had. I think she likes having me as her owner and loves how much I care for her. I love pets!

MY FOREVER FRIENDS!!!!!! 11/1/14

You know that I'm in Kansas now with only very few friends, though my friends in Maryland know that friendship never ends. My BBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBB[ way more B's than that ]FF is SAMANTHA!!!!!!!!!!! She's the only friend I've never given up to, my other friends are aways only friends. You get the point. Though I'll always want to make friends with others unless I want to.

11/6/14
Now I have a really good friend who is going back to Korea in January! Her name is Soejung and she's my best friend ever that I've met in Kansas! It's so sad, I really don't think any of the kids count as my best friend. Though I like this other girl too that's name is Alicia. Plus, for some kids that don't have friends, recess is like a torture for them! So, I want to find a good friend that really likes me and that I like her. I hope that I will find one like Seojung.
